An immersive performance — 360° stage
Hilton Istanbul Bomonti · November 12, 2019
A stage watched from every side. One performer. Thirty thousand pixels. For its sixtieth anniversary, Türkiye’s metal industry told its story without a single slide.
MESS — Türkiye’s first employers’ union, the metal industry’s home since 1959 — turned sixty. An institution whose whole story is matter shaped by human hands. So that became the performance.
A stage built to be watched from 360 degrees, an image canvas of thirty thousand pixels, one performer at its centre. For five minutes, matter dissolved, flowed and reformed around a single moving body — image and choreography composed as one organism, the human touch always at the centre of the transformation.
Five minutes, one dancer, no slides — sixty years of an industry, told through its own element.
